I have spent the last few days reading through your stories about what this program meant to you when you were students. It is clear that the theater is much more than just a classroom or a stage for our kids. My next step is to present these experiences directly to the school board because they need to understand exactly what they are choosing to cut.

Seeing this level of support reminds me exactly why I poured so much heart into this program during my own years on that stage. This momentum proves that our community refuses to let the lights go dark on the home that shaped so many of us.

THEATRE IS LIFE. My kids are thriving because of this. Dont kill the program just to trim the budget.
This program changed my life in high school. You cant just cut the arts because you want to save a few bucks. Please rethink this.
My daughter finally found her group here. Its not just acting its a family. Take the money from somewhere else.
so sad to hear this news. the shows at ahs were always the highlight of the year. keep it going!
leave the theater alone. sports get way too much funding as it is anyways.

The theater department is the heart of that school. Taking it away would be a huge mistake for everyone involved.
