Join the community of support for Blackford Jr/Sr High School to build an auditorium. The auditorium would provide the school and community with a venue for concerts, drama productions, and other performances. Further, the school would have a more suitable location for assemblies, testing, conference presentations, and more. In addition, the community would have a suitable venue for an assortment of functions and activities. We propose that the project be looked into for feasibility. "I support the proposition for the addition of an auditorium to Blackford Jr/Sr High School either through the building of a new building or the conversion of an already existing structure. (contingent upon budget and approval)”

This should have been done a long time ago. Even though we don’t live in the community, my wife and I would support this and would donate back to the school we are alumnae of.
We have several gyms and no auditorium. I am glad that you are pursuing this. Thank you.
I was a student at Blackford and I fought so hard for this, Blackford, if we want to do quality shows we NEED an actual auditorium.
Yes! We were shocked to see the very small theater at BHS when we moved here. Well, we were also impressed with the dramas BHS students performed there:) This is an amazing and needful project! Thank you for starting this process
I would support an auditorium as long as it could used outside of BCS system to benefit the community like a Civic Theatre and Benefit Concerts. Thank You, Douglas Smith
I grew up where we had such a venue. It was amazing to watch classmates perform in the theatre and to watch the band perform concerts. I hope this is something that works out.
An auditorium and theater would provide numerous opportunities for students to grow and thrive.

I've always wondered why the high school didn't have a theater. I feel like the schools have plenty of gym / auditorium space. However, I do think that the school and community would greatly benefit from a large theater space with seating. It could be used for dance, band, theater, choir, convocation, fundraising events for local bands to perform, etc
