Beds-modified was founded in 2008 and is now one of the number one modified car communites in and around the bedfordshire area.
We are a friendly car club, run by enthusiasts NOT boy racers, we attend shows and events in the UK plus Europe.
We want your help to show the local council in Bedfordshire that the majority of us are not ''boy racers''.
For the past 15 years there has been a scene in Dunstable/Luton within the Modified and Performance scene of cars.
From year to year the local council and authorities move us on from carpark to carpark, when the majority of us just want to be parked up, socialising with like minded friends and checking out each others pride and joys.
We are not boy racers, alot of money and effort have been spent on each individuals cars.
We would like you to help us show that the majority of us are looking for a ''STATIC'' place to allow us like minded people to chill for one evening a week and to socialise with friends within the car scene, we would like the local authorities and council to work with us to allow this to happen and to keep this as a static meet.....

The council keeps moving us along while refusing to see the actual people behind these cars. I am tired of being treated like a nuisance when we have simply been trying to find a place to exist in peace. This fight is exhausting but I am not walking away from it yet.

The momentum behind this is growing and it proves that people are finally seeing us for who we actually are. It is exhausting to be constantly moved along but seeing this collective push gives me the strength to keep fighting for a permanent space.

I do not agree with the description that we are 'boy racers' because we aren't, we park up in a car park and talk about our passion for cars, and admire each other's cars.
If they think I'm going to race my car around a car park they are very much mistaken! Car owes me far too much money to risk it!
All we want to do is come together as enthusiasts and enjoy our love of cars.we meet up and meet new people and old friends to show off our hard work and love we have put into our cars/bikes.also raise money for charity's such as London air ambulance,children in need,g.o.s.h,cancer research and we at Royston modified held a meet for the late Paul walker and raised over 28 thousand pounds for reach out worldwide.so I don't we are all that bad.we just need help to show the boy racers for what they are and not tar as all with the same brush.
I just enjoy meeting up with friends and taking photos of their car modifications
Would you rather the group went from meeting in car parks chilling & relaxing too going down the route of drugs/crime/fighting ?
I'm just a soul who's intentions are good.. oh lord, please don't let me be minunderstood!

As someone who works on the cars of this community I can assure the people within spend a lot of money and time making these cars what they are, they wouldn't be used in a dangerous or offence manor as the cars mean to much
