We would like to collect the signatures of those who were offended by Wayne Memorials newspapers. We would like to show the administration that this was offensive and not okay. Students and parents are welcome to sign.

The fact that they gave no "African American" a chance to voice their opinion and didn't let them voice our side and kept it predominantly Caucasian

I am disgusted with the apathy toward black history month that certain people at Wayne memorial have been displaying. Many of the African American students are offended and something should be done!

I found this article in the paper to be offensive as well. Whatever the paper publishes has to be approved. And this was approved. That says a lot abt the person who wrote it and the person who approved it. ~If u teach the children that this behavior is acceptable there will never be any growth.

I felt the newspaper article was not right & very offensive to some students including me as a African-American attending Wayne memorial I feel as if the article should have never been put in the newspaper especially what's going on now knowing it's A very emotional subject about racism going on .

I feel like we deserve black history month. The way things are now and even back then. What that boy wrote in the news paper is very offensive to us. But white people doesn't see it the way we see it because they are not black. This needs to be looked into because it's not okay!!!

It's important that the school knows the things they've been putting in the paper are racist and offensive.
