THE GOVERNMENT FINALLY COMMITTED TO FIXING OUR WATER PIPELINES AND THE TAPS ARE TURNING ON!!! WE ACTUALLY WON THIS FIGHT AND I AM BEYOND THRILLED THAT WE SECURED THIS VICTORY TOGETHER!! WE MUST NOW STAY VIGILANT TO ENSURE THEY FOLLOW THROUGH ON EVERY SINGLE PROMISE.
We as residents of Qwaqwa hereby request urgent intervention of Provincial and National Government relating to the availability of running water in Qwaqwa. It has been over 18 months without running water and the nearest dam to Qwaqwa is over 90% full.
WE JUST SMASHED THROUGH THE FIRST HUNDRED SIGNATURES!! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE ENERGY FOR OUR CAUSE AND IT SHOWS THE GOVERNMENT THAT WE ARE NOT GIVING UP!!
January 12, 2017
THE SILENCE FROM THE OFFICIALS IS ABSOLUTELY DEAFENING WHILE OUR DAM REMAINS FULL AND OUR TAPS STAY BONE DRY!! I AM WORKING TIRELESSLY BEHIND THE SCENES TO GET OUR DEMANDS DIRECTLY INTO THE HANDS OF NATIONAL LEADERSHIP!! WE ARE NOT GIVING UP UNTIL EVERY HOME HAS WATER AGAIN!!!

Its amazing how people at beruit, elite, riverside and debult have water from fika patso but people from mangaung, tseseng and all the rural places in qwaqwa dont have water. Or do you get water by the status of your residence?

All we need is for the government at various levels to show leadership and honour their side if the bargain - service delivery of the basic of basic needs; water. The Jojo system has gone for far too long when it was supposed to be an ad hoc measure.

Does our government care about us the residents?
It is not an excuse to claim that the fika patso dam has a hole it can't keep the water after so many rains. They knew way back that theres a hole what were they waiting for in order to fix it. It shows in competency
