Ndlambe Municipality manages areas that include Alexandria, Canon Rocks, Boknes, Port Alfred, Bathurst Kenton on Sea, Bushmans these areas struggle profusely with WATER issues
We call for a Vote of NO CONFIDENCE in the Municipal Manager and Municipal Director of Infrastructure of Ndlambe Municipality.
We deserve our Basic HUMAN Rights to be met.

I had to cut my holiday short due to water issues in Port Alfred. Every year it is becoming worse. I am signing this petition with deep concern for the residents, businesses and mostly tourism in our beautiful town.
Imagine Port Alfred High School, over 800 children with no flushing toilets or water to wash hands. Imagine the germs. Imagine the sicknesses that will spread to our community.
Our beautiful town is losing its appeal as tourist destination with visitors canceling bookings. Residents' taps are dry. We desperately need funding to replace the ailing, 30 year old asbestos underground pipes.
Fed up with the fact that the bushmans masele side hasn't had water for a year and the corruption involving the water situation with the water trucks needs to be put to a stop.
The water availability in Port Alfred is a disgrace. 2 Dec 2025, had water from 13H30 to 15H30, during which time I was at the Hospital for my monthly check-up. Fortunately we use our bath as a collection tank. So we have not, as I type, had water 16 hours. Hav

There has been a continuous struggle for water on the East bank. We are situated high on hill and when there is water the pressure is too low, an I have to use a booster pump. This has increase my electricity consumption drastically and with the higher rates it has affected my financial commitments terribly.
