The planning commission just confirmed the project is being moved elsewhere because you all refused to back down. I am honestly stunned we reached this point together and I owe every bit of this outcome to your persistence. We should stay alert to ensure the decision sticks but for now …
We, the signed, do NOT want this to be built in our neighborhood. We are officially notifying the planning commission that we are against this and request it be moved.
I never expected this to reach so many neighbors when I first hit publish. It is honestly overwhelming to see how many of you feel the same way about our streets and the future of our area. This momentum comes entirely from your willingness to speak up for our home.

This is unacceptable and needs to be stopped. Isn't there a Waste Management landfill about 10 miles away from the proposed transfer station? We already have a quarry where construction trucks run all hours of the day with dirt and debris everywhere!!!

Stinky station will harm our property values, cause nasty odors, eliminate natural space for Arizona wildlife and contaminate our water system. There is plenty of other spaces in non-residential areas where this can be located. NOT in Vistancia!

I appreciate that this kind of building is needed, but not in our neighborhood that already has a huge problem with only 1 way out for thousands of residents. And Happy Valley traffic is already a huge problem and lots of accidents at that intersection.

I am not paying high taxes and bear higher cost of my property in this area to have a dumpster next to my house. My neighborhood, it’s status, and overall presentation of it matters to me and if this happens I am most likely out of this neighborhood.

This proposed plan is in an area surrounded by single family homes. It would be a travesty and disruption of tranquil family life. Kids won't be able to play outside due to the smell. A real shame and blemish in local and state governments.
