We are moving into a brand new development just 4 miles from the proposed weigh station. We are against this location. It is too close to too many neighborhoods where small children play.

I strongly disapprove of a Easter transfer station being built in our community.

We the residents of Peoria strongly reject rezone proposal and NO to waste transfer station. This is a beautiful community and WM has many other remote places which can be used outside of cities and non residential zones for business. We ask planning commission to consider our residential needs staying in this beautiful city for last 10 years and building our communities and businesses. Bringing waste management into residential areas will take away the economic advantage and becomes Peoria as a dump yard and no new home buyers will be showing interest. I hope our best usage of senses prevail in making decisions that changes the nature of how we live and do our businesses here.

This would be devastating to our home values due to the increased traffic, noise and smell. These types of infrastructure need to be decided long before neighborhoods get built.

We feel that this change would not only be a detriment to the areas more upscale atmosphere, it could decrease property values

So much has been spent to keep the beauty in this area. Please don't bring this here.

Complete BS, this shouldn't even be an option around such a nice and clean area.

Changing zoning from residential to heavy industrial in a already residential area is inappropriate. I am opposed to having a waste transfer station placed near a residential area especially when we only have one way in and out of these neighborhoods to go east. Additional traffic from large trucks is a hazard that our families don’t need. Move the transfer station out of a residential area and into a more suitable location for heavy industrial use.
