ISSUE:WARNEET BOAT RAMP
Incorrect slope of ramp creates a safety issus of cars:
.Brakes and rust
.Unsuitable for all boats during most tides unless prepared to submerge car
THESE PROBLES NEEDS TO BE URGENTLY SOLVED BEFORE MAJOR ACCIDENT!
Urgent maintenance required:
Pontoon -red bumper bars need replacing
North side ramp-removal of sand with continuous maintenance

They should have left the ramp alone. The new modifications have made it worse. I used to be able to launch a 20ft boat there near the last 2 hrs of low tide. Now there's too much silt and a sand bar on the ramp. They need to install a permanent Rockwall on the north side of the ramp to fix the issue. The new ramp was a waste of money. Someone should be sacked for this debarcle. Not happy!!!
It would be good to know that our launch fees are going back into the facilities we use. To think they spent all that money down the road at blind bight on sealing the car park and new cleaning tables when the ramp is only useable within 2 hours of the high tide and half as many people use it, it really does make you wonder what went wrong down there. Then in all their wisdom they think its best to remove the cleaning table and bins. Has this joint gone mad
The south ramp definitely needs to be redone it is impossible to launch without having both of your back wheels well and truly in the drink. would the installation of a rock wall to the south alleviate the silt issue on both ramps ?
How much money gets collected is not relavant, it's the fact they are refusing to fix it. This is the foreshore committee put in place by the DPI.
Don't understand why it has to be this hard to get the ramp fixed, how do we find out how much money the ramp and parking has grossed and how much has been put back into this facility?
Obviously the Rockwall is only part of the solution.
Maybe we can get it to the media, my uncle is a journo for the herald sun

My 4wheel drive brakes where damaged through putting my car into the water and they became noise and needed replacing after retrieving my boat
