Full day is needed for working parents. It's a huge burden on families right now.
My oldest struggled so much with the transition to 1st grade because of the half day schedule. It is ridiculous that we are so behind the times here.
Long overdue. We pay enough in school taxes for this to be standard.
Yes pls! My daughter needs the extra time with her teacher to really get the hang of reading.
The classrooms are sitting empty! Why on earth would the district waste that money and then not use them for the kids? Makes no sense.

WANTAGH NEEDS TO STEP UP. Every other district around us has been doing this for years.
