Finally. We have been stuck at 2.4 for years even after doing all the extra training. It is time the pay reflected what we actually do every day.
Hope this goes through. Good staff are leaving because there is nowhere to go career wise. We need this tier to keep people in the sector.
total nonsense that there is no room for growth. i have 15 years experience and im on the same pay as someone who just started. fix it.
100% support this. library techs are the backbone of the system.
Long overdue. The work load has tripled in the last ten years but the pay scale is still stuck in the dark ages.

yesss! we do so much more than just shelving books. time to get paid properly for the advanced tech skills we have to learn now.
