The council has officially approved the induction of Richie Bonilla into the Bronx Walk of Fame. I am currently coordinating with the administrative office to finalize the date for the installation ceremony. We will continue to monitor the progress of the plaque production to ensure completion.
To Councilman Ruben Diaz Sr. and Jr. We the people want to see Richie Bonilla in The Walk of Fame in the Bronx, NY . He has contributed to the Latin Music Industry for over 60 years in 6 continents . His hometown of the Bronx should honor his accomplishments and give him the recognition he is so deserving of . He is known as a Gentleman because he’s Honorable and humble. He is a well respected icon to the world of Latin Music and especially by the people of NY.
The reach of this petition has hit a point where the Councilman's office can no longer ignore our request. My team is currently drafting a formal briefing package to submit to their legislative aides by the end of the week.

I've known Mr.Bonilla thru his son since elementary school. Mr. Bonilla loved to hear us play in a band in his basement for years. And as far as an award for him in this area of love and expertise, Mr.and Mrs. Bonilla should win a humanitarian award for just being whole, generous and genuine top shelf human beings. love you guys.good luck

We worked with Richie Bonilla in the 70s and 80s when the name of the band was La Herencia Latina. A honorable and well respected Gentleman and a Legend of our Music.

I thought mr. Monillas career from the sixties to the present. And as someone who's been in the business for 50 years myself he was part of the reason that I became a promoter as well

Richie Bonilla is the last of a generation of leaders, mentors, and role models in the Latin music industry in New York and around the world. He is a dedicated, humble, and giving person and his integrity speaks volumes as does his commitment to his community, his roots, and his clients interests. I am honored to call him a friend and he is most deserving of this honor.

Mr. Bonilla is a phenomenal person and icon deserving of this and more.
On a more personal note, he advised me on a better and brilliant way to conduct an upcoming proposal to my Japanese girlfriend.
He was generous with his time and wanted nothing in return other than for this special occasion to come to fruition for us and be a memorable experience.
My deepest respect to Mr. Bonilla and I hope they honor him every year.
