"Joe Franklin Way". A well deserved tribute to a man who made a difference and influenced the lives and careers of countless individuals, both in the entertainment industry and in life in general.

As Joe always said: It's nice to be important, but it's even more important to be nice. It’s nice and important to have a street named after one of New York City’s iconic personalities.
Great guy, friend to anyone in showbiz. I found him in the NBC TV NYC card file circa 1948 where he was a guest discussing his record collection.
We Love Joe Franklin! He is missed. He taught me how to do an interview. Blessings Teddy Smith
He changed my career too. Joe gave a voice to those who were up and coming as well as presidents and even Elvis Presley. We wish to let people know he was the king of entertainment ☺️
Mr Joe Franklin must be recognized as an extraordinary TV and Entertainment influencer, contributor and producer, So many entertainers, musicians, actors and performers directly credit Mr Franklin for amazing TV show and its great influence on their careers as his impact extends Worldwide, far beyond our local NY metro area.
Joe Franklin was a wonderful TV host who exuded kindness to all with a great sense of humor. Miss him.
I was a guest on his show in the early 80s. A NY legend and nice guy.

I knew Joe. His office was one of the heartbeats of Broadway. He was good to me and so many others. I’m glad that there’s a push to honor him this way.
