Nigerian women are marching for the unjust treatment we receive. Be it violence against us physically or sexually. Women are tired of being treated like slaves in a society we helped build and that is why we are marching. For the ones who have been raped, abused, assaulted, beaten, and made to feel like their voices don't matter. For all of us. We're urging the Nigerian government to listen and work with us to improve and protect the lives of Nigerian women.

I have spent the last few days in contact with legal advocates to draft a formal policy proposal for the Ministry of Women Affairs. We are currently finalizing the specific legislative demands that will accompany this petition during our formal submission. Expect a breakdown of these policy goals once we have confirmed a meeting time with government officials.

Women are not objects to be used and thrown around. We are invaluable and deserve to be revered and valued so. We all wish for one thing - UTOPIA! A world where we won’t walk the streets with fear of the unknown...
We advocate for a certain degree of social security. We are tired of living in constant fear. We say NO TO RAPE, NO TO VIOLATIONS, NO TO STIGMATIZATIONS. No defence can suffice for the above treacherous acts.
Rape shouldnt be condoned in our society anymore.What kind of future are we creating for our kids? A society where they are raped and ashamed to speak up because of stigma and victimization. We are tired and we say No to rape No to Victimization No to Rape apologists Stop defending rapists Punish rapists Save our children Save us
Enough is enough. Women deserve to have the ownership of their bodies respected by the state and the street.
