We call for stronger action against gender-based violence so women can feel safe again and live with dignity.
Women are suffering a great deal in these times, and this is not something we should accept as normal. Too many women live with fear, unfair treatment, and harm that takes away their sense of safety and self-respect. As women ourselves, and as members of a community that should protect one another, we want to stand up and address this matter clearly.
It is not enough to simply speak about the problem. Women need real support that reaches them where they are and helps them rebuild confidence and dignity. Campaigns must be provided to raise awareness, challenge harmful attitudes, and show people that violence and abuse against women are never acceptable. These efforts should help women know their rights, encourage them to speak up, and remind the wider community that safety and respect belong to everyone.
We ask for action that is visible, caring, and effective. Women should be able to move through their daily lives without fear. They should be treated with respect, protected from harm, and supported by a community that takes their safety seriously. By investing in campaigns and lasting public awareness, we can help bring back dignity, strengthen hope, and build a safer future for all women.
