Our union began wage proposals with asking for a 3% increase every year for three years.

The hospital is counter-proposing the following wage increases:

1- Freezing 2018 wages at 2017 rates

2- In 2019, replacing PEP increases with the hospital's proposal of 0.5% in January and 0.5% in July.

3- In 2020, replacing PEP increases with the hospital's proposal of 0.5% in January and 0.5% in July.

Sign this petition if you do not agree with the hospital's proposal of a wage freeze followed by only 1% per year for the next two years after that.

*signatures will be presented at negotiations

Updates

September 18, 2017

The hospital management continues to ignore the cost of living realities faced by our staff during current negotiations. Your signatures serve as essential evidence that we will not accept a wage freeze or inadequate annual increases. We are preparing to present these documents at the next bargaining session.

September 18, 2017

The scale of this response demonstrates a clear consensus regarding our compensation standards. We have built sufficient momentum to approach the bargaining table with the full weight of our collective position.

I received less than .5% which was more than just a kick in the teeth. We need NO LESS than 3% which isn't even a cost of living increase!

I have devoted 15 years to my patients, colleagues, and this organization. This offer is a disgrace to showing value and appreciation for employees. The organization should be embarrassed to even suggest such an offer

With more work expected due to layoffs, these proposed "raises" are insulting to those of us who always go the extra mile. Treat us with respect and compensate us for our dedication and hard work.

Guess they finally admitted it publicly. We have no value as service and maintenance employee's. Management spent more money sending Directors and managers to Disney for a week after the 2014 election than there believe 907 employeees are worth. LOOK AT ALL THE HOSPITALS PROPOSAL's and realize that their proposals without a union are policy. CHCA has prevented countless employees from job loss along with prevent these type of proposal's from being implemented... I'm begging you to please look at the hospitals proposals to see what they believe you are worth. How much value you have is up to you! Be heard

This wage increase should have nothing to do with our pep!!! The cost of living in this area is one of the highest.

Don't forget without a union the hospital will do what ever they want (exactly this type of stuff, taking from us) and we will have NO say...the union is OUR voice.
