To the President and Negotiating Team of the Public Workers Union (PWU)
We, the undersigned members and dedicated workers of the Public Workers Union (PWU) submit this petition to formally express our support for accepting the employer’s Government of Grenada most recent salary increase proposal.
While we highly value our union’s commitment to securing the best possible working conditions and compensation for all members, we believe that ratifying the current offer is in the best interest of our workforce at this time.
Our reasons for supporting the immediate acceptance of this offer include:
- Immediate Financial Relief: The proposed increase addresses current cost-of-living pressures and provides tangible financial benefits to members and their families without further delay.
- Avoidance of Prolonged Disruptions: Accepting this offer brings closure to the current negotiation cycle, preventing the uncertainty, stress, and potential loss of wages associated with prolonged negotiations or potential strike actions.
- Fair and Competitive Compensation: The proposed package represents a positive step forward in our overall compensation, recognizing our hard work and dedication.
We stand united with our union, but we respectfully request that the bargaining committee present this offer to the wider membership for a ratification vote, or accept the terms to conclude negotiations successfully.
We appreciate the countless hours and hard work our union representatives have dedicated to this process on our behalf. Thank you for your time, your continued advocacy, and for considering the voices of the members you represent.

Because they need to enjoy the benefits as all workers ..cost of living is high.evey penny counts
For salary increase
Lecturers are important to any industrial actions at TAMCC. They have already concluded their negotiations without us. Their non participation in any industrial actions will not create any impact on the day-to-day running of the College.
Because we've worked and our increase need to be paid.
Because im a public officer and its long over due

I sm signing because 13% is reasonable I firmly believe if Government could have given more they would . Which Government ever gave 13% before . I need my increase please .
