Virgin Media have disabled the eSATA port on the rear of the Virgin Media V+ box to stop the user from being able to increase their recording capacity.
This Petition is asking to have the eSATA port enabled on the Scientific Atlanta 8300.
just hit 100 signatures on this which is awesome. honestly didnt think so many people cared about the extra storage but it feels good to know im not the only one annoyed by these locked ports.

E Sata port on virgin media box shouldn’t be blocked ever. It should be up to customers to increase recording capacity by eternal hard drive.
