The Market Park in Converse will
boast a relaxed park-like setting that promotes leisurely paced shopping.
Rather than rows of crowed tables and walkways under a hot roof, the Market
Park will be hosted all outdoors. Market
Park vendor spaces will be divided out over eight acres of open land. Spaces
will follow the natural terrain of the land varying in shape and size. All of the spaces
will have connecting trails bending and winding around trees and other natural
vegetation to rendering a true park-like setting. The Market Park will quite
literally be a beautiful market park.

This would be so nice for the weekend. Bring the kids and just walk around under the trees. Hope it gets approved.
YES PLEASE. tired of driving into SA just to find a decent outdoor market. keep it local.
Need more stuff like this in converse. dont let the city council turn this down. keep the market outdoors.
8 acres of open land? hell yeah. way better than those stuffy indoor halls. count me in.

Converse really needs a place like this. The current spots are way too cramped and hot. A park setting sounds lovely!
