In 1931 the builders of the Fox Village Theatre had a vision to create a magnificent movie palace that would be the envy of the world. Today, that same single screen theatre still draws the attention of the world. But there is a problem. The Village and Bruin Theatres are now facing an uncertain future because Mann Theatres is not renewing their lease. The Actors Hall of Fame, in cooperation with local industry, community and education leaders has an ambitious vision to expand these two iconic theatres into a state of the art entertainment, education and community center for students, teachers, actors and movie fans from around the world. Our goal is to revive the Village and Bruin Theatres into a unique multi-use movie complex that will serve students, educators and movie fans.
