The government reversed their decision and Col Stogran will remain in his role. We forced them to listen to our veterans by refusing to back down. Keep watching the department to ensure they respect his mandate moving forward.

Final supporters
This leaves the Canadian Vet, voiceless to the government, or worse yet, in the hands of some self centered, career orientated parliamentary appointed lap dog.
It's time to take a stand and let the federal government know that we will not go unheard nor will we go away. We need to keep Col Stogran as our Veterans Ombudsman. We need the Federal Government to reassess the New Veterans Charter (NVC) and look at the long term implications of it on todays veterans.
Everyone knows someone who is affected by this governmental decision not to renew Col Stograns contract, so it is important to let as many people as you can know about this petition and have them sign.
Every signature is appreciated. Not only by myself, but by all Canadian veterans.

Le Colonel (ret'd) Pat Stogran, a été la voix et un champion pour les anciens combattants Canadiens et de leurs familles de façon exceptionnelle au cours des trois dernières années. En raison de son franc-parler, son sens de droiture, le gouvernement fédéral a annoncé qu'il ne renouvellera pas son contrat.
Cela laisse le Canada Vet, sans voix au gouvernement, ou pire encore, dans les mains d’une personne qui n’a pas à cœur le bienêtre des Anciens Combattants et de leurs familles mais un agenda orienté sur sa carrière politique . Il est temps de prendre position et de laisser savoir au gouvernement fédéral que nous ne restera silencieux et nous ne baisserons pas les bras ns. Nous devons garder Col Stogran comme notre ombudsman des vétérans. Nous avons demandons au du gouvernement fédéral de réévaluer la Nouvelle Charte des anciens combattants (CNV) et examiner les implications à long terme de celui-ci sur les anciens combattants d'aujourd'hui.
Nous connaissons tous quelqu'un qui est affectée par cette décision gouvernementale de ne pas renouveler le Col Stograns contrat, il est donc important de partager avec vos proches de laisser l’importance de cette pétition et leurs demander de signer.
Chaque signature est appréciée et aidera tout les générations des anciens combattants Canadiens.

Stogran or bust. Leave the man alone and let him finish the job.
Finally someone who actually had our backs. Stogran is the only guy who told the truth and now they want him gone. Absolute joke.
Pat Stogran is a hero. He stood up for the troops and that is exactly why they are firing him. Shame on them.
My husband served and he trusts Col Stogran. Dont let them replace him with some desk jockey office puppet.
KEEP HIM. We need someone who isn't afraid to call out the government on how they treat our vets.
