The Board approved our proposal to guarantee Vista del Mar access for all Talega students. This victory belongs to the 763 of you who refused to back down until our neighborhoods were included. Keep an eye on the upcoming enrollment packets to ensure these changes are implemented for the next …
We the signers of this petition, are in support of submitting a proposal to the Attendance Boundary Committee (ABC) and the Board of Trustees of CUSD, stating that ALL families within Talega, who pay Mello-Roos assessments for the support of Vista del Mar School (VdM), will be granted access to VdM. This includes all neighborhoods in study area 1500. This proposal further seeks to ensure that all current and future students residing in ALL areas of Talega will be able to attend VdM from kindergarten through eighth grade.
We just hit 500 signatures on this proposal. Post the link on your Facebook page right now and email our school board trustees to tell them the community expects action.

The scale of this response confirms the community is ready for the district to fix this boundary issue. Now we need to turn this energy into action by emailing your board members and demanding they adopt our proposal immediately.

Ridiculous that we have to fight for this. We are in the boundary and pay the taxes. Fix it.

We payed the extra mello-roos fees specifically for this school. Its only fair that our kids get to go to the school in our own neighborhood.

VdM is why we moved here. My kids need to stay with their friends from k-8.

The commute is already a nightmare. Just let the kids go to the school they live next to.
