The international VR community would like to ask Valve to reconsider their current order restrictions in regards to the newly announced Valve Index VR headset and accessories.
Certain countries unfortunately are currently not able to order the headset due to regional restrictions. At the moment, this hardware is only available in the US and the European Union. There are many enthusiasts in other parts of the world who would love to also experience this new headset. Unfortunately, this is not possible without resorting to a 3rd party forwarding service or a VPN walkaround.
Valve, please allow other nations to order the Index via your store, or distribute the product via other retailers, like Amazon.

I am currently compiling a report detailing the specific regions excluded from current shipping logistics to present to Valve distribution leads. My goal is to secure a formal meeting regarding their international supply chain strategy. I will provide an update once I receive an initial acknowledgment from their corporate relations team.

Australia - disappointed to see so few have signed this. I'm sure more would agree in principle though and doubt this represents the number of people keen in said countries.
i am from norway (not in eu) and was extremly happy when i saw that it released but when i went to steam to buy the knucles controllers i was terrebly adgitated to see it was unavalible, so just release it for all peapole to try.
Pretending countries outside the US and EU don't exist has been a malpractice that needed to be fixed DECADES AGO, VALVE. DO NOT CONTRIBUTE TO THIS SYSTEM OR YOU WILL BE VILIFIED AND YOUR POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS WILL GO STRAIGHT TO OTHER PRODUCTS. Release. Worldwide. Now. Or suffer.
Living in New Zealand and it really sucks being left out of the loop on this one. I have money ready to go but valve just wont take it. Fix this please.

Cmon Valve.. you obviously knew you wouldnt sell to the world! Why cojldnt you have done the decent thing and at least told us first? I sold lots of hardware I would now be happily using to fund the Index. It is impossible to make informed wise decisions when you have not been adequately informed. Please be more considerate and communicative in future.
