This is kind petition to Valve Software, relating to their popular online game currently in the beta stage - Dota 2. We plea to prevent all Russian IPs from being able to play on any server other than their native Russian - unless in a group that is headed by a non-Russian IP. This is not meant to be intentionally racist nor prejudice, the signers simply feel that it would make the world a better place.

I have been reading through the many experiences you all are sharing in the comments and it is clear that this is a frustration felt by so many people. It is truly humbling to see such a genuine response to a concern that I initially thought only affected me.

I am honestly a bit overwhelmed by the momentum this has gained so quickly. This whole thing belongs to you and I am just amazed that so many people felt the same way.

JUST REGION LOCK THEM ALREADY. RUINED THE GAME FOR EVERYONE ELSE
Its not about being mean its about having a fair match where we can actually talk to each other. so frustrating
PLEASE valve do something. communication is key in this game and its just not happening lately
The language barrier is way too big. get them on their own servers.
Sick of losing ranked games because nobody on my team speaks english. Its impossible to coordinate anything.
