European players of Identity V have long struggled with high ping due to being forced into matches with American players. Because the American server is given priority, European players often face unfair disadvantages, with lag directly impacting gameplay, competitiveness, and overall enjoyment of the game.
We, the European player community, respectfully request that NetEase provide an option within the game to allow players to choose their matchmaking region (Europe or America). This simple feature would ensure:
- Fair and balanced ping for all players.
- A more competitive and enjoyable gaming experience.
- Greater player retention and satisfaction across regions.
Other online games already allow region-based matchmaking or server selection. Adding this option to Identity V would greatly improve fairness and accessibility, and show that NetEase values its European community just as much as its American one.
We call on NetEase to take action and give European players the fair playing conditions they deserve.

Please, consider providing the same option for american players. I play this game for 4 years now and i have never experienced a match with green ping, even though my wi-fi connection is good.
Yellow ping is a big disadvantage, making for unfair matches and an increase in toxicity in the community. Please give us an option to only match within our region and have a fair gaming environment.
I want to play hunter but the ping is SO awful that survivors run faster than me, therefore it's impossible to play. Even when I play survivor, it's not enjoyable to play or straight up walking into walls. Please, address the issue because it's been 7 years already.
Please make me play with with Europe people , i love this game but my ping is always a problem , you will lose money after doing but you will get a lot of new players and players who quite the game bec of ping issues , neatease stop telling us fix your connexion Noooo , fix your servers first
I'm so tired of my ping going to 300ms just because i got matched with ONE american. I can't even play solo, i always have to play with a friend or more because no matter what, when i queue solo i always get matches with americans.
The game is unfairly unplayable for europeans.
Developing a server for Latin America would be of great help.

I'm tired of playing with RED ping when the network diagnosis has shown me 1 ms, yes you heard that right, my internet is FAST. Despite this, I get red ping just because of the server, this makes no sense to me.
