The momentum behind this petition proves that our city is finally waking up to the bureaucratic incompetence driving the decision to stick our veterans in the suburbs. The people running this show need to understand that we will not let them bury this hospital in a field while the downtown medical corridor sits waiting for the investment it deserves.

Build it downtown. Keep it accessible.
Yes!! Downtown is the only place that makes sense. My dad goes to the VA all the time and he doesnt want to drive out to the suburbs for care.
Keep it downtown where the actual medical resources are. Putting it out by the highway makes no sense for the vets who need access to specialists.
Please listen to the people. Downtown is right for everyone including our veterans. Enough with the suburban sprawl.
Total waste of money to build way out there. Bring it back to the med center where it belongs.

Are they crazy? traffic on 264 is already a nightmare. Dont make it worse. Fix this before ground breaks.
