Welcome friends, brothers, fathers, husbands, uncles, and grandfathers to the V-Men. We are a coalition of strong men committed to fighting alongside our sisters, mothers, wives, and friends to put an immediate stop to violence against women and girls. With compassion and a piercing dedication to stop rape, incest, battery, genital mutilation and sexual slavery, we join the V-Day movement as allies for a cause in which we are deeply affected. One in six women in America is the victim of attempted or completed rape; duly, we pledge to use our strength, masculinity and determination to join the front line in support of the women we love. As V-Men, we promise: to always seek the peaceful solution, to never abuse women, to never rape or sexually assault women, and to always embrace a unified sense of humanity. We are the V-Men: we are allies to all women and will remain determined until the violence stops.
