The university administration has approved our proposal for the graffiti cube and the surrounding seating area. I am truly moved by the response of the 317 people who supported this vision for our campus culture. We should take pride in this new space once construction is finished.

The University of Texas at San Antonio prides itself on the culture and diversity of our wonderful campus. The campus is growing to become a much more traditional college experience, with growing pride and traditions.

During this great time in UTSA history, bring a brand new, student-led tradition is necessary. Let's show UTSA we would like a monument that would accent the culture and creativity of our students, a cube structure with four graffiti walls.

This cube, which will be painted by students, will feature four murals, including one side prominently stating "Greetings from UTSA" with art relevant to our university.

In addition to this cube, if possible, park-style benches for studying, relaxing, and a chance to enjoy the view of the cube.

UTSA needs something to make it stand out and draw attention towards itself in order to increase its likability and desirability for incoming freshman. Fasho

Consider painting images that represent different views from Texas. Since most student aren't from San Antonio. I'd also really appreciate a music oriented theme as well.

Art is not just a form of expression but a valid platform that can have a positive outcome in the right context.

I think this is something that UTSA desperately needs as it continues to build its identity. More designs and classy/relevant art amongst the barren concrete spots at UTSA would do wonders in changing the campus feel.
