The school board rescinded the budget cuts to Haven Grade School following our presentation of the fiscal data. We successfully secured the necessary adjustments to restore the quality of education for our students. I will continue monitoring the district budget to ensure these resources remain allocated correctly.

Please sign this petition and join parents at the school board meeting Monday October 11, 2010 7:00 PM Pleasantview Academy to support positive changes for our district to create Equal and Quality Education!
The budget cuts that the school board placed upon Haven Grade School have affected the students schedule and their quality of education. USD 312 District is Unequal, Unbalanced and Unfair and the board has placed this burden on our children.
Parents we have the power, we need your support, help us get 500 signatures on this petition! We will have several parents there presenting facts and positive changes that need to be made district wide. Please support us in these efforts, it is the only way that the board will take notice of Haven Grade School and make the right choices for our children's education!
Changes have to be made and we have to make the board choose fiscal decisions that are correct for all students district wide. When budget cuts were being discussed last school year, Partridge would not consider changes, Mt. Hope would not consider changes and Haven took the largest hit and now our children's education is suffering.

I have spent the week gathering budget documents from previous fiscal years to compare against the current proposal. We are now finalizing a formal memo to present at the next board study session.

Its frustrating to see the board ignore us constantly. Hope they actually listen this time since we are showing up at the meeting.
My son came home telling me he doesnt even have the right books for class. This is ridiculous and the board needs to wake up.
THESE CUTS ARE HURTING OUR KIDS. Plain and simple. Stop taking it out on the grade schoolers when there are other places to trim the fat.
Where is all the tax money going exactly? Because it sure isnt going into the classrooms at Haven. Fix this please.
Haven Grade School has been ignored for too long. My daughter deserves the same resources as the kids across town. Enough is enough.

I have two children who need IEP services. And two others constantly struggling to catch up from COVID. Now is not the time to lower school funding. Is Kansas not ranked low enough in the US as is.
