Dear Sir/Madam,
China and US have visa reciprocity rules. Each type of visa has similar fees, entry times, and valid period. China's work visa (Z-type) and US's work visa (H-type) only allow two entries in three(3) months. As world economy becomes more internationalized, short visa validity and limited entries cause unnecessary burdens to busy professionals and cumbers international business and cultural exchange. Many other countries allow maximum of 6o-months multiple entry work visa. (See examples at: http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/reciprocity/reciprocity_3537.html )
With longer visa validity and multiple entry work visa, not only does it bring convenience to so many China and US nationals, but also encourages better international collaboration, business development and travel opportunities.
I would like to petition Chinese and United States governments to consider changing current work visa limitation and grant multi-year and multiple entry visa to citizens of both country.

I started this because the current visa restrictions felt like a heavy burden for so many of us working between these two countries. It is honestly humbling to see that I am not the only one facing these struggles. I am currently working on documenting these stories so that those in charge see the real impact on our professional lives.

I am honestly stunned by how many people have joined this cause. It is clear that this is a necessity for so many of you and I am just happy to provide a place for us to gather. Thank you for taking this further than I ever imagined.

This would help so much. Being away from family for months at a time because of visa issues is just wrong.
Ridiculous that I have to apply every single time I need to fly out for work meetings. It costs a fortune in fees and the paperwork is a nightmare. Make it easier for us.

FINALLY. This is long overdue. Way too much red tape for people just trying to do their jobs!
