We need your voice to help keep our full service Winn-Dixie grocery store in Miramar. There is a proposal to convert it into an Aldi, which would drastically reduce the variety of food and services available to our community.
Our current Winn-Dixie is more than just a grocery store it is a vital resource for seniors, families, and anyone without easy transportation. It offers fresh meats, a bakery, deli-prepared meals, seafood, and specialty items that Aldi does not provide. Losing this full-service store would mean fewer healthy food options and more challenges for those who rely on it most.
This change could also hurt our local economy. When people have to shop elsewhere, our community loses valuable business and the chance for future growth. We believe Miramar deserves a grocery store that meets all our needs, close to home.

Winn Dixie is a one stop shop for a variety of produce and services. It is a family local favorite go to supermarket for many families here in Silverlakes. Aldi is no where comparable to the the services Winn-Dixie offers.
Winn-Dixie has always been an important part of my grocery shopping as they carry items that other grocery stores do not as well as providing the necessary competition to keep groceries affordable.
I've been shopping there since it opened when they closed the one next to my home at Pines and 186 Ave and made it an LA Fitness. My go to place.
I am not a fan of Aldis. They do not have a deli dept, meat & fresh fish dept. or a bakery. Birthday cakes etc. You can sit down and have lunch or dinner a cup of coffee. Winn Dixie has a larger variatie of other items that Aldi or Publix do not have. Please reconsider keeping Winn Dixie.
I do not think Winn-Dixie should be replaced with an Aldi. I shop regularly at Winn-Dixie and occasionally at Aldi. Since there is already an Aldi nearby, I think it is unnecessary to change this location into an Aldi as well.
Best Winn Dixie I’ve ever been too.

As a person with disabilities, a drastic change like this will have a very negative impact on myself and others.
