This appeal is in reference to the recent grave incident of death of students at Rau’s study circle due to water logging issues ,
The following are our requests :
1. The details of casualties and the students be revealed to the concerned family as many are still missing. There is no disclosure of the names and details of deceased . We request for transparency in the investigations.
2. Government issued a notification in 2020 that all the libraries in basements will be closed with immediate effect due to illegal construction. We hereby request the ‘Rau’s IAS study circle’ to present before the NOC certificate to operate the basement library.
2. Immediate investigation and arrest of those responsible.
3. Resolution in the matter of water logging, sewage systems and live wires. This is has been a persistent issues and has been reported on several occasions to MCD . Please produce a report on why despite numerous complaints no actions were taken
4. We request for the unadulterated CCTV footage for the night of incident .
5. The due compensation to the family of the deceased.

The families are still waiting for basic answers about their children while the authorities continue to delay the investigation. Call your local representative today and demand they release the full list of victims and the original CCTV footage immediately. We want justice. We are the voice of the nation. Everyone involved in this too much coruption is here nothing else everyone is busy to fill their pockets no matter what they are doing. Each and every officer employee responsible for this who knows the condition of drainage system who knows that on document there is no library who knows that this area is not for the basement. You can't pay a life from you pocket.
