The response from our community regarding the fiber grant has been remarkable. This momentum demonstrates how vital reliable internet access is for our residents and local business owners.

Our current internet and television providers are not keeping up with the times.
We need United Fiber for our community. For businesses and residents that work from home. We need reliable high speed fiber internet.
We need something else. Broadband sucks. Speed is unconsistent and impossible to find
We need faster, more reliable internet here in Skidmore!!! Families and businesses alike require more than the DSL that ABB (now Fastwyre) can provide. This is 2022, and for DSL or unreliable satellite internet to be our only options is absurd! The amount that ABB charges for DSL is 1.5 times higher than cable internet in capital cities at a fraction of the speed for crying out loud!
Our internet is slow and expensive. We use it on the farm and I sell baked goods from home.
Maitland is in need of this also!
