This petition is intended to be presented to the board of directors of the Lake Vista Property Owners Association (LVPOA) so that the current covenant on pet control can be amended to expressly prohibit the chaining or otherwise tethering of an animal anywhere in Lake Vista.

If you have a dog, PLEASE don't leave it outside chained. Its very cold out there.
I have never believed in chaining a dog and leaving it. They are called companions for a reason. They need human contact.

It is abusive to chain a dog under any circumstances. This isn't about Lake Vista's image - this is about animal cruelty.
