Umoja One and Two Demand immediate action, and investigations into the water shortage experiences in the estate while water vending and boreholes are being setup and are currently running. There have been attempts to followup the issue through the County Govt and Nairobi water company..These efforts have been futile.
I really never thought we would get this much traction on the water situation but here we are and it just proves that the neighborhood is fed up with the dry taps and the private boreholes popping up everywhere. It is honestly overwhelming to see so many people finally speaking up about how futile the official channels have been lately and I am just trying to figure out the best way to get our concerns in front of someone who will actually listen for once.

Am a concerned resident of umoja inner core. There is a lot of digging up of a road connecting sango stage and manyanja road and from my assumption this is causing the shortage. My concern is this is quite slow....this is almost the 3rd week and the stretch is halfway done...

I have seen a five storey building rise from ground to final roof without one single truck of water supplied. During this time we missed water all through coz we were among adjacent buildings, this is the kind of corrupt conspiracy that goes on around Umoja. It should stop immediately

It's totally sickening that you are living in a capital city and you're fetching water like you're in a rural area we pay tax and it's my Constitution right to get clean water am not asking am demanding to get clean water.
