We, the undersigned, wholeheartedly support the "Recommendations Affecting the University Heights Neighborhood that Overlap Both the Uptown and North Park Community Planning Areas" submitted to the City of San Diego Planning and Community Investment Department by the University Heights Historical Society on October 21, 2010.

Updates

November 8, 2010

I met with staff at the planning department this morning to press for a formal review of the October recommendations. We are now preparing a follow-up briefing document to clarify how these zoning adjustments impact current neighborhood density.

The latest wave of engagement has secured interest from the City Planning Department regarding our formal request for a meeting. We are currently preparing the documentation to present our case for preserving the neighborhood character during this upcoming session.

UH is getting way too crowded. Traffic is a disaster already and the city just keeps ignoring us. Save our streets.

Enough with the ugly condos. Our neighborhood has actual charm and history and you are just tearing it all down for profit. Leave it alone.

lived here 15 years and i dont even recognize the place anymore. keep the historical rules in place before everything unique is gone.
