Reaching this point has been a long and draining process that forced me to question if anyone else cared about this program. Seeing this momentum now proves that I am not alone in this fight despite how hard the silence from the district felt at the start.

It would be highly beneficial for the TWDI students to have at least 2 classes in Spanish in middle school to continue their fkuencfy and prepare them for the AP test as a freshman.
The District has already made an investment for the TWDI elementary program. It would be a shame to waste the investment that has already made a great impact in the community and lose the momentum that the students have gained. Speaking from one that was bilingual educated, the rewards are huge in the workforce and will make the professional more marketable in the age of globalization. Lets lead the way.

Please continue the TWDI immersion program through middle school and high school. It would be so unfortunate for the kids lose their Spanish after making a 6 year commitment.

My family committed to this program and expected it to go through High School. We are still committed and want/expect the district to honor what we were told when we joined at the start of the program. I have two kids in the program and two more joining in two years.
