This is a petition against the grotesque and disproportionate proposed development of the green field site behind Ironwalls Lane and Green Lane in Tutbury, Staffordshire. This proposed development is totally out of character with the historic nature of the village, threatens to increase its size by around a third and to turn it into another conglomeration with the neighbouring town of Burton-on-Trent. The developers hope to promote the proposal with replications of existing facilities such as a community centre, cricket pitch and allotments, whilst failing to address problems such as traffic, parking and medical facilities demonstrating the developers' unfamiliarity with and seeming lack of research into the existing community.
