This township has had many skaters over the years with out a skate park in years. Many children are forced to travel miles to other towns and to skate on public and private areas in the town. Many times children are threatened, are yelled at, and even can get in trouble with the law from skating these areas. Also, children get there skateboards, bikes, and other vehicles that they ride to have fun taken away. This park would primarily be made of concrete and would be half street and half vert. This skatepark in Toms River New jersey would change so much for so many riders. It would provide a safe area to skate and to have fun with others. This park would be for all vehicles and it would bring so much pleasure to the youth of the community and would add some variety to the parks in the community.
