Hello fellow residents. I am asking for your assistance here. There
are currently ZERO designated areas in Wall Township to ride a skateboard.
Currently anyone who skates are either in the street where it is dangerous,
getting chased out of a parking lot or going to other towns to use their
facilities. Wall TWP has approximately 30 baseball/softball fields
between the schools, parks and Little League. The area a Skatepark would take
up is no bigger than the infield of a baseball field or basketball court. I am
sure something that size could be carved out at the Municipal Complex or
somewhere else in town however I think the Municipal Complex would be ideal.
With towns like Neptune and Brick currently building brand new concrete
Skateparks why can’t Wall TWP? As a lifetime resident (give or take a few
years) of Wall and a supporter of skateboarding and outdoor activity in
general I would love nothing more than to be able to skate with my daughter in
a park that is in our hometown.
So if you could please sign on to help get a Skatepark built in Wall NJ so your
children can start training for the Olympics :) or just to skate and have fun.
FYI… Skateboarding is now an Olympic sport starting in Tokyo 2020 Games.
Thank you for the support!!!

My son is always getting kicked out of parking lots by security. It is time we gave these kids a real place to practice.
