Here in the border of Tustin, and irvine calfironia, the number of skateboarders are plenty. communities throughtout Irvine and Tustin have complained many times for the destruction of property, disturbance of peace, and many other reasons all because skateboarders have no where else to skate. The closest skatepark is Harvard skatepark which is about 20 minutes away, and since not everyone can find the transportation, they can't go. Besides the fact of distance, harvard skatepark is already at maximum capacity by the skaters in orange and irvine almost everyday! If there was to be a skatepark built in tustin, specifically at the intersection of Tustin Ranch and irvine blvd. at the Heritage park, these problems would surely be solved. Heritage park consists of a basketball court, a hockey rink and a wide amount of grass space that is almost never used. A skatepark could perfectly be placed at the unused space, resolving not only the skateboarder's problem of having no spots, but also saving the communites from skateboarding harms.
