Earlier today, I rushed back from university in order to get some important post I require for my course. I was 3 minutes late, arriving at 2:03pm. The Trinity Square staff advised they would not allow me to go into the post room as it was now closed and I had to come back at 7pm, which is 5 hours in which I cannot complete the work I need due to an item being in the post room.

This petition is to collect as many signatures from residents in Trinity Square Accommodation as possible, in order to urge change in the postal access system currently in place. As you know access is only granted for 2 hours out of each day, 1pm-2pm, and 7pm-8pm. With any governing body, or institution, a few mumbles about how it doesn't work very well does not get back to the team who manage the building, and this petition should be a more effective way of gaining their attention.

My proposal, is to increase the hours of opening, perhaps to 2 hour windows, so 4 hours in total per day, or to use a new method of delivering post. The easiest way I believe this could be achieved, is by using the one resource that management have not considered, a complex full of approximately 1000 academic students. Hired student help could help increase the staff levels within trinity in order to deal with the postal issue, and would encourage a permanent, more effective system to be put in place going forward.

I hope you can all relate to this issue and electronically sign this petition so that something get's sorted, as I am sure I'm not the only one that is fed up of queuing up whilst an un organised post room gets turned upside down to find one measly letter from your GP, or a parcel which you know has arrived due to tracking, which is nowhere to be seen.

Thank you!
