We are gaining momentum but we need to hit the 500 mark before we present this plan to the parks department. Post the petition link on your Facebook page right now and text three friends who ride to ask for their support.

This would be a game changer for the city and to have a more relationships with the biking and skate community this would be great for generations to come and locals at 9th street bmx including my self will always take care of the trails no matter what gets in our way. Thank you

Please consider adding a larger/flat concrete surface. It would awesome if the local roller derby teams could utilize this space for roller derby and hosting community events regarding skating!

I've been blown away by how often "if you build it they will come" had proven true for bicycle parks and trails. The Southern Walnut Creek trail is the best example I can think of, fully thought it was a boondogle that I and hundreds of other people use all the time. If you want people to use this park let them ride it.

East Austin is overdue for greater community investment. This park would be a great way to bring more resources and exposure to a largely overlooked area of our city.

I have been hoping we would eventually build something like this! Our city needs more places for kids to get outside and be safe. House park has been a huge success! The east side needs their “house park” now.

I’ve travelled from Australia to Austin just to ride BMX. The addition of a world class public facility would only make it an even more desirable travel destination.
