We, the homeowners of Cascadia are petitioning the developers to plant more boulevard trees in the lower half of the development to create a more homogeneous neighborhood that is universally attractive and green. There are roughly twice as many boulevard trees in the upper half as in the lower half (147 vs 77). In fact, there are 0 boulevard trees on Marietta Dr. and none on the upper side of Delphi Drive.

When we bought in Cascadia and saw the site map we were very happy to see all the trees planned along each street. We didn’t just buy a nice lot, we bought the idea of a tree lined neighborhood — which it is at the top half of the ‘hood but lower Cascadia is pretty barren especially Marietta Drive!

Please plant more trees!!! The lower half of cascadia is barren, loud, and offers no shade for walking. Upper cascadia has beautiful trees and advanced landscaping.

The limited shade trees make walking very hot in summer.
