We have been told of a family that has come to the island from France to their other home for a holiday . How are they allowed to do this ????? . plus another man from the EU comes over each week / month to check on how the work in his garden is coming on .
Close the ferries. My parents live on the island and it’s my home but I won’t be visiting during this time to help stop the spread of the virus. If the island becomes overwhelmed with visitors, the hospital will not cope. Stop putting profit before people and close!
The more tourists we get over here the more our hospital will be overwhelmed. I work in the tourist industry. But I would like to see and welcome visitors when it is 100% safe. Even if that means next year and not this one.
Please restrict people travelling to the island as I have a compromised immune system. I am a key worker who normally work in Southampton but I am not travelling to protect myself, not much point me not going to work if the virus can be brought to me while shopping etc.
Cornwall is closed...now Wales. It's time the Isle of Wight was too. Our one hospital could not cope with the spread of the virus. Essential travel such as medical staff, freight lorries etc of course, but nothing more. We need to do this to survive. Please listen.
Only essential key workers and goods vehicles should be allowed to travel to the Island

I cancelled my little break to the island, as I deemed it unfair to travel from the mainland to the island. Considering we are still under lockdown Wightlink should be fined for moving so many people about on bank holiday weekend.
