The Islanders of Guernsey and Jersey are requesting the States of both Islands to push for an Inter Island Ferry Service which will accommodate passengers in their vehicles.
A once a week service by Condor/Brittany Ferries on a Wednesday is not fit for purpose!! We need at the very least a weekend service which will allow Islanders to visit family and friends and attend Inter Island Competitions and Sports.
Other operators are stepping up but they cannot take any vehicles are providing a foot passenger only service. This is not acceptable and an Inter Island Ferry Service which will enable passengers to travel in vehicles is urgently needed.

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many of you have joined this effort since I started it. If you have a moment today could you please post the link on your own social media pages so we can reach that hundred mark together.

As a business owner in both jersey and guernsey and also a motorsport competitor there needs to be a regular service between the islands for vehicles and frieght more than just foot passenger. Please address this as it’s both islands that are suffering!!!
Movement of livestock as well as sporting events. Not to mention removals & that’s not even touching on the subject of those who travel for work/business tradesperson , freight, food produce …etc etc
At moment I will not be able to afford going from Guernsey to Jersey for a motorcycle trial, this would mean paying for someone to take on and off ship and store which is expensive and limited both ways. We need better service over the weekend to move vehicles.
Inter island and Uk/France travel, with vehicles, used to work like clockwork throughout the week. This change to one rotation between the island a week is a totally unacceptable, retrograde step!
We cannot afford a flashy holiday to Disneyland or Europe but what I would like to do is take my daughter to visit elderly relatives and take her to the zoo with my car. I hate driving hire cars and I can’t afford to rent one let alone take a taxi everywhere.
Crazy, what’s happening, sort yourselves out and service our islands properly

The last few years we taken regular 3 or 4 night breaks in Jersey with 3 dogs. This year it’s impossible unless things change. We’re going to be limited to day trips which only allow about 4 hours between arriving and checking in to come home.
