We, the undersigned, respectfully request that the City of Abbotsford and BC Transit implement a direct transit route to the Vaishno Devi Hindu Temple located at **31545 Walmsley Avenue, Abbotsford, BC**. The temple serves as a significant cultural and religious center for the South Asian community and other devotees in the region. Improved transit access will:
- Allow easier access for elderly worshippers and those without private vehicles.
- Promote environmental sustainability by reducing the reliance on personal cars.
- Support the diverse cultural and religious needs of Abbotsford’s growing population.
Providing a transit option would greatly benefit the local community by enhancing inclusivity and convenience.
The City of Abbotsford continues to ignore the basic transportation needs of our community while expecting us to just deal with the isolation. We are keeping the pressure on BC Transit until they acknowledge that this temple is a vital hub that deserves actual access.

The city council and BC Transit continue to ignore the basic transportation needs of our community while we keep gathering strength. This momentum proves that people are tired of being sidelined by officials who refuse to make our temple accessible to everyone. We are forcing their hand and they will have to answer for this neglect soon.

For freedom of mobility, bus service is a must and moreover there is no service on Clearbrook Rd beyond Sherwood Cres.

We request a new bus route or extension of the current service to the Abbotsford Vaishnodevi Mandir. Many students and community members struggle to reach the Mandir because there isn't a nearby bus stop. Adding this route would make it easier for everyone to visit the mandir.

It is very important to have a public transport to temple as it is the only temple in abbotsford. Everyone have their beliefs and want to go temple but many people are unemployed and can't afford buying cars or Uber. So, it's very important to have a public transport to temple.
