We asked our residents for their comments. Surita said, “A transit system for the residents is very important to us. I hope there is a change soon.” Aaron commented, “Having smaller buses connecting the different neighbourhoods of Westhills will help.”
There are many wonderful amenities surrounding Westhills, like the bowling alley, arena, mini-golf, lake and many others at its doorstep; the need for proper public transit service is a priority. Westhills residents should have full access to public transportation, similarly to other communities in the region.

Watching these numbers climb reminds me of how many of us are trapped in our driveways waiting for a solution that never comes. Please take a moment to send this link to a neighbor who is still driving to the arena or the lake alone. We need to reach our goal quickly to show the transit board that our community is united.

Seeing this momentum grow has been truly overwhelming because I know exactly how much my neighbors struggle to get around without a reliable connection. This surge of interest proves that our community is finally ready to demand the access we deserve.

Watching this list grow reminds me how many of my neighbors are tired of being cut off from basic transit. We are just a few signatures away from the triple digit mark and I need your help to push us over that ledge today. Please send this link to someone who lives nearby so we can show BC Transit that our neighborhood is united.

Public transit is good for everyone, not only the individuals in the community but also an opportunity to be more environmentally responsible.
Small public transit buses should be available in Westhills that connect to larger routes Ie: 50. I walk 26 minutes from Artesian Court down to Jacklin and Dunford to catch the bus 5 days a week. I know I am not alone on this walk. Public transit would definitely be helpful for many residents of Westhills.
I agree there should be public transit to Westhills, but it should run down Langford Parkway.
YES PLEASE. tired of paying for ubers just to get around langford when the bus is right there on jacklin
Living here without a car is impossible. Really need a bus route up the hill soon.

The rapidly growing community of Westhills deserves to take advantage of Transit. It is a green community, plays a major role in the Langford and the Westshore area, and residents should have the option of taking this safe, alternative, not to mention environmentally friendly service.
