===========================================================

If you Google TPM Parking, you will receive numerous hits on mismanagement of parking within the TPM vicinity. This is not something new. This is a problem that has been around for many years. Those whom have been working within TPM vicinity could relate to this: a) exorbitant parking fees - RM3.00/day for open space parking - RM 2.50/hour for multi-storey parking (which are limited) - RM50/month for open space parking - RM 150/month for multi-storey parking (which are limited) - RM 150/month for basement parking (which are full) b) lack of security - cars being stolen - cars broken into - vandalism of vehicles parked within the vicinity c) inconvenient parking locations and insufficient parking spots - the legal parking spots are limited to few locations; average distance from office is 1km walk - illegal parking lots are open to cars along the roadsides; poses danger to the cars - some illegal roadside parking lots are about 4km distance from office locations d) shuttle vans - although shuttle vans are provided to users, it is not convenient as a van can only accommodate limited number of passengers - the shuttles timing are not regular to certain parking spots - shuttles end at certain hours, posing danger to women and men walking to collect their cars at the parking lots e) others - no dedicated parking lots for disabled, pregnant mothers, elderly etc - unreasonable and irresponsible clamping of cars. TPM claimed that all cars parked within the vicinity will be clamped if parking fees are not duly paid. However, parking lots that they are providing does not fit for purpose, ie: illegal roadside - rude and slacking security guards: some of the tenants were treated disrespectfully by the guards - TPM parking coupons are sold at certain area, creating inconveniences to tenants AND THE LIST GOES ON! This petition is meant to put pressure to TPM management and provide its tenants reasonable and proper parking services: a) reduce the parking fees to RM1/day b) increase shuttle vans to all parking locations c) increase legal parking lots whilst providing dedicated parking spots for the needy d) provide better trained security guards e) increase security protection to the vehicles and tenants

Let's aim to get at least 5000 signatures. Once we hit this number, the media and press will be contacted to further highlight this issue.

I am spending my mornings reading through the stories you are sharing about the safety risks and the daily frustration of finding a spot in this park. Dealing with these fees while fearing for the security of my own vehicle is exhausting and I know many of you feel the same weight. I am currently organizing these accounts to present them directly to the management team.

Seeing this amount of momentum proves that those of us tired of the daily struggle to park safely at Technology Park Malaysia are finally being noticed. I have dealt with these predatory fees and the constant worry for my vehicle for too long and it is heartening to know I am not fighting alone.

Idiotic TPM parking staff, En Zul, refuses to grant an EMPTY lot (next to Enterprise 1) to a female tenant who currently parks far from the building and usually works late and has to walk in the dark. No lights at the current carpark West 2. Reason is the previous occupant might want to continue and take back the lot. Hello? If that person has terminated the parking (according to the clerk), why do you still need to keep the lot for the previous occupant??!!! So damn lazy, why? Is there a lot of paperwork involved???? And people are willing to pay for the lot, why give so many excuses?!!!!! Idiots managing the parking

Indeed the management of tpm really pathetic. Parking fees are ridiculously high for a student. Inconvenient parking location. Unsafe. For the sake of money they just clamp the car forcefully even is just parking for a few minutes.

The price of the parking should not be RM5.30 per day. As we are still students. Moreover, the open air car park near by the APU new campus sucks. A) It doesn't have any line or parking box drawn. B) The whole car park is uneven rocky road, spoiling the suspension of the cars. Who is going to pay for that when spoil? PLEASE, HAVE MERCY TMP.

The parking is too expensive for a student. By attending only 1 hour class also need to pay RM 4+ to avoid car from getting clamp.
