This petition is for current Supra MK5 owners that received their cars in 2019 and 2020, as you may know Toyota has announced the 2021 Supra on February 13th 2020, and the 2021 Supra now comes with an upgraded engine / internals that boosts over 380hp. They also upgraded the chassis / suspension as well. These kinda major upgrades after less than a year is absurd and really affects the resale value of our current cars. We (Current Supra MK5 owners) deserve a compensation from Toyota as we are being punished for supporting Toyota, if it wasn’t for us there wouldn’t be a Supra program, so please sign and let our voice be heard, current projection is that our cars will be worth less than $35k in less than a year and that kinda depreciation for a Toyota is unheard of, we deserve a tune, new parts or other ways of compensation from Toyota, it’s only fair, with enough signatures and support we can get what we deserve. Seeing all these VINs popping up is honestly wild and proves that we are not just imagining this frustration with the sudden jump in horsepower and parts. I honestly figured this might just fade away but the sheer amount of people joining in means Toyota has to take notice of us now. It feels good to know I am not the only one staring at my garage thinking about that ridiculous depreciation.

I believe those who supported Toyota buy buying the first model year should not see their investment plummet in value after 1 year because Toyota introduced a new engine in the 2021 model Supra. As compensation to its loyal 2020 Supra owners, Toyota should allow all its 2020 Supra buyers to flash their ECU using a flash tune identified by Toyota and cover this under warranty.
While I was excited to hear that 2021 would have some significant upgrades, it was disheartening to know that my 2020 would immediately, significantly depreciate and be decently outperformed by its very next year. Some type of sympathy from Toyota would be appreciated.
I totally agree. I paid 90k and with this new upgrade my cars value will take a plung. W020679 LE #1424
I think some free software updates to get some of the 2021 updates would be nice. And maybe Caliper decals and the front strut tower brace would be a nice addition. And maybe a new in house tune to bump our hp to close to the 2021..
2020 Supra 3.0 premium purchased DAY ONE July 24 2019. Disappointed in toyota for this, my car experiences traction issues that should of never reached customer.

Purchased my 2020 supra A90 back in October 2019....and already theyre making upgrades to a newer 2021 in less than 1year? I feel like you guys just stole my money and gave me an unfinished product.
